2018 "Cinque Ports and Brexit" Exploring the ambivalence of the Cinque Ports of Kent (pre C1100)which had fought against Europe providing the basis for the Royal Navy but had also traded Tax Free with the same nations and yet voted for Brexit. The images of sky and sea divided 48/52 reflecting the the contrast between free trade and desire for "Taking control of our borders" back

2019 "Stuff"  Stuff is made up of objects that have been through the mill, have interacted with the world and have a story to tell. It is a particular kind of lively matter resulting from the conditions of a specific historical moment: the overflow of commodities from the successive stages of over production and over consumption in consumer culture. These super detailed images lit filmicly become stuff produced because of the existence of previous stuff

2020 "I am here" My Mother’s journey into dementia as unpredictable as the colour shift in the out of date medium format film used to record our changing relationship. “I am here”  reflects the writing of Roland Barthes in “Mourning diaries” using a translation of the word "Voila" with which he greeted his mother every day. The words she reportedly also used to him on her death bed, "Voila" I am here.
