"Well, it’s more than a year since I was first diagnosed – and, yes, it would not be inappropriate to say “What a year…”

At some stage I’ll get round to talking about the early days: the onset of the disease, the long process of diagnosis, the ‘bombshell’ of the diagnosis itself, the few days & weeks after etc.

Just now, I’ll talk about how I am now.

The good news?: I’m still walking – just.
